JOB VACANCY: ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Production Manager at our IV infusion plant in Mbagala Rangi Tatu, Dar es Salaam. The Assistant Production Manager will oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- supervising production teams, managing schedules, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, and ensuring proper maintenance of production equipment. The role also involves active participation in continuous improvement programs, troubleshooting issues, and supporting overall operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) – mandatory
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GMP, quality assurance, and TMDA regulatory compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage staff, coordinate production plans, and maintain high productivity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
