Job Overview
The Head of Business & Retail Clients (BCB & PPB) – Global Markets is responsible for leading, developing, and executing Global Markets strategy across:
- Business Banking
- Commercial Banking
- Retail (Personal & Private Banking) segments
The role focuses on driving revenue growth, product penetration, and client satisfaction, while maintaining strong risk management and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Leadership
- Lead and implement Global Markets strategy for BCB & PPB segments
- Drive product penetration and revenue growth
- Align business objectives with organizational goals
2. Client & Business Development
- Deliver tailored Global Markets solutions to clients
- Strengthen client relationships and enhance client experience
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
3. Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to:
- Operational Risk
- Market Risk
- Credit Risk frameworks
- Maintain strong risk discipline across all activities
4. Market & Product Expertise
- Provide insights on:
- Macroeconomic trends
- Foreign exchange and money markets
- Global Markets products and solutions
- Ensure compliance with exchange control regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Business
- Commerce
- Finance
- Accounting
Professional Certification
- ACI Dealing Certificate
Experience Requirements
1–2 Years
- Knowledge of Global Markets asset classes and solutions
- Understanding of:
- Risk management (Operational, Market, Credit)
- Macroeconomic trends and regulations
3–4 Years
- Experience in Global Markets within a banking environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- Foreign exchange
- Money markets
- Intermediate understanding of other GM products
5–7 Years
- Proven experience in client relationship management
- Ability to:
