Job Summary
The role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Business Banking (Enterprise) clients, building long-term relationships through efficient and reliable support.
The primary objective is to maximize sustainable, risk-adjusted returns while ensuring high-quality service delivery and driving business growth through both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Service (70%)
- Conduct annual and interim reviews of customer borrowing facilities
- Grow and manage client portfolio through cross-selling and new business development
- Provide advisory support on financial and credit-related matters
- Resolve customer complaints effectively
- Communicate service standards, pricing, and product updates
- Identify and offer suitable banking products to meet customer needs
- Plan and execute marketing strategies for new and existing clients
- Ensure adherence to risk and service standards
2. Business Management (25%)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Prioritize customers based on contribution and potential
- Prepare and assess credit applications
- Monitor portfolio quality using risk indicators and conditions of sanction
- Manage high-risk clients (Early Warning List)
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
3. Staff Management (5%)
- Coordinate day-to-day Business Banking activities within the branch
- Ensure consistent service delivery and risk management
Risk & Control Responsibilities
- Act as crisis coordinator during major incidents
- Monitor and review risk and compliance profiles
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes
- Complete all mandatory compliance training
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Business
- Commerce
- Management (preferred)
- Higher Certificates / Advanced National Certificates in Business-related fields (required)
Experience & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- Business Banking products and services
- Credit analysis and risk management
- Ability to:
- Assess customer needs
- Recommend appropriate financial solutions
- Knowledge of personal banking products for business owners
- Broad understanding of banking policies and strategies
