Sava-Tech Financial Services is a private company duly licensed by the Bank of Tanzania to engage in microfinance operations within Tanzania Mainland, which currently owns and operates a trading name Sava Loan, Sava Loan is an online lending platform that aims to provide affordable financial services to African consumers and small businesses who have limited access to financial products from traditional banks

Position Summary:

The Marketing Officer supports the development and execution of marketing strategies designed to promote the organization’s brand, products, and services. The role involves coordinating campaigns, creating content, managing digital platforms, and ensuring consistent brand communication across all channels, customer acquisition and sales strategy but also supporting loan portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing & Campaign Management

• Assist in planning, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Collaborate with agencies, designers, and internal teams to produce promotional materials.
• Manage and maintain marketing calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

2. 2. Customer Acquisition and Sales Strategy

• Driving growth by developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients, specifically within corporate sectors, SMEs, and individual borrowers.

 

 

3.Supporting loan portfolio growth

• Centers of Influence (COI) by Cultivate relationships with key referral sources, such as real estate agents, accountants, and financial planners, who can refer qualified prospects.

4. Digital Marketing

• Create and manage content for social media platforms, website, and email marketing.
• Analyze digital performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support SEO, PPC, and onlie advertising initiatives

 

5. Collaboration

• Working with internal teams (such as credit and operation teams) to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with product development and service delivery

6. Content Creation & Brand Management

• Develop engaging marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, press releases, and blogs.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communications.
• Assist in photography, videography, and graphic design tasks where needed.

7. Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Prepare reports and insights to guide marketing strategies.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates.

8. Event Coordination

• Support the planning and execution of events such as product launches, exhibitions, workshops, or corporate functions.
• Manage logistics, promotional items, and event communications

 

Required Qualifications.

• Degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar marketing role.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is an advantage.
