Cooks/Chef (3 positions) at Farm of Dreams Lodge, Karatu Arusha April 2026

Our lodge located in Karatu is looking for qualified, motivated, and experienced individuals to join our hospitality team for the following position:

POSITION: Cooks/Chef (3 positions)

REPORTING TO: HEAD CHEF

Key Responsibilities:
•       Prepare and cook a variety of meals for lodge guests (breakfast,
lunch, and dinner).
•       Ensure food quality, presentation, and taste meet lodge standards.
•       Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
•       Manage food stock, storage, and minimize wastage.
•       Plan menus and assist in food purchasing when required.
•       Work closely with lodge management to meet guest dietary needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:
•       Proven experience as a chef or cook in a lodge, hotel, or restaurant.
•       Knowledge of local and international cuisine is an advantage.
•       At least 3 years’ experience cooking in a well-established restaurant  or hotel.
•       Ability to maintain high hygiene and food safety standards.
•       Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
•       Good organizational and time management skills.
•       Relevant culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
•       Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
•       Any other assigned duties.
