Part One: Role Overview
1.1 Position Summary

- Reports To: HR Manager
- Peers: Marketing Executive — Branding
- Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Probation Period: 6 Months

The Marketing Executive — Creative is not a support role—it is the originating intelligence behind everything LUMAC communicates.
Every campaign, visual, story, and message originates here. This role defines:
- How LUMAC looks
- How LUMAC sounds
- What LUMAC stands for
- How LUMAC is perceived
The Creative Executive does not wait for briefs—they anticipate, originate, and lead ideas. At LUMAC, creative output is not decoration; it is the brand itself.
1.3 Core Identity of the Role
Creative Originator
- Generates foundational creative concepts, campaign themes, and positioning angles
- Builds the intellectual base others execute
Narrative Engineer
- Designs the emotional journey of every campaign
- Transforms projects into aspirational lifestyle stories
Storyteller
- Extracts and presents compelling transformation stories behind each project
Perception Architect
- Shapes LUMAC’s positioning as:
- Premium
- Authoritative
- Disciplined
- Innovative
Strategic Content Director
- Ensures every piece of content:
- Has a clear purpose
- Targets a defined audience
- Drives commercial outcomes
Brand Intelligence Guardian
- Maintains consistency in:
- Tone
- Messaging
- Strategic direction
- Prevents brand dilution or inconsistency
Creative Innovation Leader
- Studies evolving trends and audience psychology
- Introduces innovation that strengthens market positioning
Part Two: Core Responsibilities
2.1 Creative Ideation & Strategy
- Act as the creative engine, continuously generating bold, original ideas
- Develop concepts proactively—before business demand arises
- Introduce high-impact ideas beyond traditional briefs
2.2 Campaign Development & Management
- Lead campaigns from concept to performance review
Key Duties:
- Develop comprehensive creative briefs including:
- Objectives
- Target audience
- Key message
- Tone and format
- Deadlines and direction
- Create visual mood boards with strategic rationale
- Oversee full campaign lifecycle:
- Concept → Production → Approval → Launch → Analysis
- Ensure all outputs meet high creative standards before approval
- Conduct post-campaign reviews to refine future strategies
2.3 Copywriting & Brand Voice
- Own and define all written communication
Includes:
- Social media captions
- Advertising headlines
- Email campaigns
- Brochures and catalogues
- Website content
- Video scripts
- Event and presentation narratives
Part Three: Skills & Qualifications
3.1 Campaign Execution
- Ability to plan and execute multi-platform campaigns:
- Social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X)
- Digital advertising
- Traditional media
- Full ownership from concept to performance reporting
3.2 Media Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Online media
- Traditional media
- Experience in:
- Story pitching
- Press coordination
- Media partnerships
- Familiarity with Tanzanian media landscape is an advantage
3.3 Content Creation & Presentation
- Strong creative thinking and idea generation
- Ability to:
- Write
- Design
- Direct content
- Confident presentation of ideas to management
3.4 Website Management
- Basic website management skills:
- Updating content
- Managing product pages
- Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS (preferred)
3.5 Digital Marketing Tools
- Working knowledge of:
- Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Analytics
- SEO fundamentals
- Ability to interpret data and optimize campaign performance
3.6 Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Marketing
- Business Administration
- Communications
- Public Relations
- Or related field
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in:
- Marketing
- Branding
- Creative roles
- Experience in:
- Product-based companies (preferred)
- Construction / interior design / building materials (advantage)
Portfolio
- Strongly encouraged to submit a portfolio of previous work
- Portfolio carries significant weight in selection
