The Accountant will manage and maintain financial records, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support the company’s financial planning and reporting functions.
đź“Ś Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Track income, expenses, and budget allocations
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Perform account reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure tax compliance and proper documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records for reporting purposes
- Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience in account reconciliation and tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and financial regulations is an advantage
