Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Airport Services Agent based in Dar es Salaam.
The role focuses on delivering five-star customer service at the airport terminal, ensuring passengers experience smooth, safe, and efficient travel. You will support airport operations while maintaining high standards of safety, security, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Passenger Service & Coordination
- Liaise with check-in, transfer desk, and related units for smooth passenger handling
- Escort and direct arriving and departing passengers to designated areas such as:
- Hotel desk
- Visa counter
- Transfer desk
- Premium lounges
- Boarding gates
Operational Support
- Assist Duty Officer with company materials and operational records
- Liaise with Ground Handling Agents (GHA) for efficient processing of passengers
- Ensure passengers move smoothly through airport facilities
Service Quality & Supervision
- Supervise GHA staff during flights to ensure service standards are maintained
- Organize check-in counters and coordinate documentation processes
- Ensure compliance with airline service quality and safety standards
Additional Duties
- Perform other related tasks to support efficient airport operations
- Contribute to a positive and professional airport environment
Requirements
Education & Experience
- High School Qualification (minimum)
- At least 2 years of job-related experience
- Minimum 1 year in airline, travel, or hospitality industry
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong customer service orientation
- High energy, positive attitude, and ability to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ability
- High level of computer literacy
Other Requirements
- Must have legal right to live and work in Tanzania
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding airport environment
