Job Purpose
To support the growth of the loan portfolio through effective client recruitment, credit assessment, and portfolio management while maintaining high standards of customer service and loan quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage loan portfolio, including disbursement and quality control
- Market and train customers on BML financial products
- Provide excellent customer service
- Conduct cash flow analysis and credit assessments
- Open and maintain accurate client records and files
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Degree or Diploma in:
- Banking and Finance
- Accounting
- Economics
- Business Administration
- Social Sciences
- Finance or related field
Experience & Skills
- At least 2 years of experience as a Loan Officer in a microfinance institution (preferred)
- Strong understanding of microfinance operations and practices
- Excellent financial analysis skills for creditworthiness assessment
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel)
