🏫 The Opportunity

AKES, T is currently inviting qualified, dynamic, and committed education professionals to join the team at Aga Khan Mizzima Secondary School – National Curriculum Section (NECTA).

We are looking for passionate teachers who are eager to inspire students and uphold AKES’s tradition of excellence.

Available Positions:

1. Sport Studies and Physical Education Teacher
   With experience in teaching Historia ya Tanzania na Maadili in the NECTA curriculum.
2. Literature in English Teacher
   With additional teaching subjects in History, Geography, or Kiswahili within the NECTA curriculum.

📘 Key Roles and Responsibilities

As part of the Aga Khan Mizzima Secondary School team, the successful candidates will:

• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
• Set clear learning objectives and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Continuously monitor, assess, and support student progress to ensure excellence in academic outcomes.
• Develop effective teaching plans and materials aligned with students’ knowledge and abilities.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education from a recognized and accredited university.
• 2–4 years of teaching experience in a NECTA curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
• A solid understanding of 21st-century teaching practices, with strategies for improving student achievement.
• The ability to apply innovative educational frameworks for school improvement and self-evaluation.
