🎯 Main Purpose of the Role
To independently perform advanced servicing, maintenance, and repair of MSF vehicles and mechanical equipment, ensuring all vehicles are in safe, reliable, and perfect working condition.
🧭 Key Responsibilities
🔧 Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform full servicing and advanced repairs on MSF vehicles and equipment
- Follow maintenance schedules (mini A, medium B, full C services)
- Test vehicles after servicing before release
- Diagnose breakdowns and perform repairs after approval
- Keep accurate vehicle logbooks and service records
- Report mechanical issues to supervisor
📋 Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all vehicle documents are valid (insurance, inspections, etc.)
- Maintain service and repair records
- Prepare maintenance reports before and after repairs
📦 Inventory & Tools Management
- Manage spare parts and consumable stock
- Maintain stock records and conduct inventories
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Keep workshop clean and organized
🚗 Operational Support
- Assist in training drivers on vehicle care and maintenance
- Perform driving duties when required
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanics or related field
- Valid driving license
💼 Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
🗣️ Language Requirements
- Swahili (required)
- English (required)
