Job Opportunity: Operations Manager

CNS Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a furniture manufacturing company in Dar es Salaam. This role is responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, production processes, project execution, and overall workflow efficiency.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in workshop management, manufacturing operations, project coordination, and time management to ensure productivity, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across workshop, production, and manufacturing processes.

• Ensure smooth coordination between production, inventory, procurement, and delivery teams.

• Manage workshop operations to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.

• Monitor stock usage, raw materials, and production timelines.

• Improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Supervise staff performance and ensure production targets are achieved.

• Support project planning, execution, and timely completion of client orders.

• Prepare operational reports and performance analysis for management.

• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: A Degree is not mandatory; relevant practical experience is highly preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations management, workshop management, or a manufacturing environment.

• Industry Background: Strong experience in furniture manufacturing or related production industries is preferred.

• Skills: Strong project management, time management, and leadership skills.

• Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting.

• Knowledge: Good understanding of production planning, stock control, and workflow management.

• Mindset: Professional, results-driven, and customer-focused.
