Job Purpose
The Packaging Process Operator is responsible for running the packaging process efficiently to ensure:
- Consistent product quality
- Maximum production throughput
- Minimal waste generation
Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Packaging & Machine Operations
- Operate packaging processes efficiently
- Handle machine start-up, shutdown, and routine operations
- Manage brand and packaging changeovers
- Monitor and control production inputs
🛠️ Maintenance & Cleaning
- Perform first-level maintenance
- Conduct in-depth cleaning of equipment
- Ensure machines are in optimal working condition
📊 Quality & Performance Monitoring
- Conduct quality checks on products
- Monitor process performance and identify deviations
- Take corrective actions for out-of-control situations
🛡️ Safety & Environment
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Follow safety procedures and operational standards
👥 Teamwork & Problem Solving
- Participate actively in team activities
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
- Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
Minimum Requirements
🎓 Education & Certification
- Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- OR Trade Test in Mechanical/Electrical
💼 Experience & Skills
- Experience in a packaging or production environment
- Ability to work shifts
- Strong attention to detail
- Quick response to process deviations
- Problem-solving skills
