Job Opening: Financing Analyst

Amana Bank is seeking a qualified Financing Analyst to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to the bank’s financing policies.

• Analyze, compile, and recommend financing proposals to the Head of Department.

• Build relationships with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Branch Managers to improve the quality of business proposals and turnaround time on financing appraisals.

• Utilize industry risk analysis to identify and understand contextual threats to existing and potential clients.

• Ensure all documents associated with the financing process are prepared immediately after approval by the authorized committee.

• Timely review of all contracts and financing documents and recommend signatures to the Head of Department.

• Maintain and update the portfolio diary.

Key Competency Requirements

• Understanding of financing lending procedures and credit risk systems.

• Proficiency in financial statement analysis and data interpretation.

• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of key economic/political trends and risks.

• Knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer).

• Familiarity with bank products, services, and Shariah literacy.

• Strong time management skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
