Enabel – The Belgian Agency for International Cooperation invites sealed bids from eligible members of the public for the purchase of used motor vehicles. The vehicles are being disposed of as part of a fleet modernization process.
1. Motor Vehicles Available for Auction
The following used motor vehicles are available for purchase:

Sale Condition: The vehicles are sold strictly on an “as is, where is” basis, without any warranty.
2. Inspection Details
Vehicle inspection will take place at the Enabel Offices in Dar es Salaam.

Important Note: Interested bidders must register in advance by email at procurement.tza@enabel.be, indicating their preferred inspection date. Viewing sessions may be grouped for operational efficiency. Confirmation of your allocated inspection time will be communicated via email.
3. Submission of Bids
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked:
“Bid for Motor Vehicle Auction – [Indicate Vehicle Registration Number]”
Each bid must include:
- Full name and contact details of the bidder.
- Copy of National ID or Company Registration.
- Offered price in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS).

- Late bids will not be accepted under any circumstances.
4. Evaluation and Award
- Selection: The award will be made to the highest responsive bidder. However, the seller reserves the right not to proceed with the sale if the highest bid does not meet the internally approved reserve price.
- Notification & Payment: Successful bidders will be notified in writing. Full payment must be made within the period specified in the award notification. If payment is not received within this period, Enabel reserves the right to offer the vehicle to the next best bidder.
- Costs & Taxes: All transfer fees, registration costs, ownership change charges, and any applicable taxes arising from or associated with the transfer of ownership shall be solely borne by the successful bidder.
- Vehicle Release: Vehicles will only be released after full payment has been received and all transfer formalities have been completed.
