Job Description

The jobholder will be responsible for building, developing, and delivering a training program for d.light at the regional level. This role provides the sales teams with the training resources and tools needed to improve performance and deliver customer satisfaction, whilst adhering to the d.light mission and core values of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Needs Analysis: Conduct regular training needs analysis to determine the most relevant and cost-effective training solutions for sales and service centre teams to improve individual and team knowledge, skills, and business performance.

• Training Calendar: Partner with the National Training Manager and Regional Business Manager to identify training requirements tailored to business needs and individual development programs, determining priorities to plan a 6-month rolling regional training calendar.

• Content Development: Contribute to the design, development, and production of training materials, documents, and manuals to ensure consistency and quality of content and delivery.

• Coaching & Implementation: Provide coaching and development to ensure the effective implementation of all new and existing classroom-based training programs.

• Onboarding & Induction: Assist with the induction and training of new regional team members, collaborating with the Regional Business Manager to ensure quality standards are met and immediate training needs are addressed.

• Evaluation & Review: Evaluate and review training materials and tools used within the regions, updating them as appropriate to ensure maximum effectiveness.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Business Managers to ensure thorough implementation and evaluation of all training programs.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, with a specific background in designing, developing, and delivering training programs.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in the Sales and Marketing field acquired from a reputable university.

• Specialized Experience: Proven experience in conducting comprehensive training needs analysis.

Core Skills & Attributes

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swahili and English.

• Presentation: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills alongside well-developed coaching skills.

• Technical Proficiency: Ability to use standard MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build solid relationships with internal and external partners.

• Work Style: Excellent organizational skills combined with a flexible and adaptable approach.
