Job Description

The Collector, Commission Based (Temp), will be responsible for ensuring that collections are maximised and losses are minimised on stage 3 accounts.

The role involves applying appropriate collection interventions while adhering to Stanbic Bank’s core values, policies, and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting telephone calls to customers.
• Making personal visits to customers where necessary.
• Perfecting collateral ceded to the bank.
• Instituting legal proceedings when deemed necessary.
• Supporting efforts to reduce losses on stage 3 accounts.
• Ensuring all collection activities are conducted in line with bank policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Qualification

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:

• Commerce
• Accounting
• Business Administration
• LL.B
• Any other equivalent qualification

Experience Required

Personal and Private Banking

Applicants should have:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience

Additional advantage:

• Experience in Data Management will be an added advantage.
