Role Overview

Are you a numbers-driven professional looking to make an impact in the green energy sector? A growing Renewable Energy Firm in Tanzania is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial/Data Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing operational and financial data, preparing comprehensive reports, and providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions for key energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management: Collect, clean, and analyze complex financial and operational datasets.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Strategic Support: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
Project Analysis: Conduct detailed cost-benefit analyses for various renewable energy initiatives.
Business Insights: Deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations to management to support strategic planning.
Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in financial or data analysis roles.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in advanced MS Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or knowledge in renewable energy or infrastructure projects is highly desirable (added advantage).
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
