VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: TRAINEE PROGRAM
Gwambina Group Limited (Catering & Supports) is inviting applications from energetic, qualified, and motivated individuals to join its Trainee Program in the following positions:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Cost Controller Trainees (10 Positions)
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
- Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare cost analysis and variance reports.
- Support procurement activities and supplier evaluations.
- Maintain accurate financial and inventory records.
2. Store Keeper Trainees (10 Positions)
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming stock.
- Store and issue stock according to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation.
- Assist in stock-taking exercises and inventory audits.
3. Waitress Trainees (10 Positions)
- Welcome guests and present menu options.
- Take customer orders and serve food and beverages.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and service equipment.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
4. Cook Trainees (5 Positions)
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under supervision.
- Learn and follow recipes and cooking procedures.
- Ensure food quality meets company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
For Cost Controller and Store Keeper Trainees
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Procurement
- Or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Must have attained an Upper Second Class in Diploma or Degree studies.
- Must have a C Credit Pass in Mathematics and English Language at O-Level.
For Waitress and Cook Trainees
- Certificate in Hotel Management from a recognized institution.
- Completion of Form Four education.
- Credit Pass (Grade C or above) in both English and Swahili languages.
GENERAL COMPETENCIES (ALL POSITIONS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity, commitment, and professionalism.
