Job Overview

• Position: Architect

• Company: Sihotech Engineering Company Limited

• Working Station: Dodoma & Elsewhere in Tanzania and Eastern Africa

• Eligibility: Only Tanzanian Nationals are eligible to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, drawings, specifications and project documentation.

• Coordinate project planning, design development and construction activities.

• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

• Provide technical expertise and innovative design solutions while managing project timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations.

• Ensure projects comply with applicable laws, regulations and safety standards.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architects and project teams while fostering innovation and professional excellence.

Key Skills

• Strong architectural design, technical detailing and visualization skills.

• Sound knowledge of building codes, construction methods and industry standards.

• Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent communication, teamwork and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a closely related field from a recognized institution.

• Registered as a Professional Architect with the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (AQRB).

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience in architectural design, planning and construction project implementation.
