About the Role

We are hiring a Go Developer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power a fintech payment infrastructure.

The role focuses on building systems for:

• Payment processing
• Wallet infrastructure
• Reconciliation systems
• Banking integrations
• Internal financial platforms

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys backend systems, distributed architecture, performance optimization, and solving real-world financial infrastructure challenges at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Build high-performance backend services using Golang
• Design scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
• Develop systems for payment and financial operations

Distributed Systems & Architecture

• Design and maintain distributed systems for high transaction volumes
• Build event-driven and asynchronous processing systems
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance

---

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize database performance and query efficiency
• Improve system latency and operational stability
• Enhance system observability and monitoring

---

Engineering Quality

• Write clean, testable, maintainable code
• Conduct peer code reviews
• Contribute to architecture discussions and engineering standards
• Support CI/CD and software reliability practices

---

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with product, operations, and leadership teams
• Troubleshoot production issues and system failures
• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Golang
• Strong experience building backend systems and REST APIs
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices
• Strong understanding of concurrency (goroutines, channels, async patterns)
• Experience in Fintech, Banking, Payments, or transactional systems
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge (design, optimization, querying)
• Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or NATS)
• Strong understanding of production-grade system reliability and security
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with Go frameworks (Gin, Fiber, Chi)
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, AWS, cloud infrastructure
• Experience with event-driven and queue-based systems
• Exposure to wallets, ledgers, reconciliation, or payment systems
• Integration experience with mobile money, banks, or telecom APIs
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry)
• Understanding of DevOps and infrastructure automation
• Interest in AI tools, automation, or LLM-based systems
