Position: Client Service & Sales Officer

Location: Oyster Bay, Dar es Salaam

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) and Saturday (8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
Job Summary
Manage client relationships, process orders accurately, ensure timely deliveries, and provide outstanding customer service. The successful candidate must understand that this business depends on the efficient movement of goods through proactive follow-up and excellent client care.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Prepare quotations, process purchase orders, and follow up every order accurately.

Maintain organized files for quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.

Prepare accurate Excel spreadsheets, sales reports, and management reports.

Liaise with the Director on pricing, quotations, and customer requests.

Ensure goods supplied match client orders in quality, quantity, and specifications.

Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Delivery teams for timely fulfillment.

Answer client calls and follow up on inquiries promptly at all times.

Monitor purchasing patterns and proactively follow up on missed or declining orders.

Notify management of requested products not in stock.

Promote stock movement to minimize slow-moving inventory and expiries.

Resolve customer concerns professionally and support company growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales, customer service, or wholesale FMCG.

A Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.

Fluent in both English and Swahili.
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting skills.
-
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.

Professional, proactive, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure.
