Position: Liability Officer

Key Responsibilities

1. Deposit Mobilization

• Mobilize deposits, achieve liability targets, and acquire new deposit customers.

2. Business Development

• Identify business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and execute sales initiatives to grow the customer base.

3. Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain strong customer relationships, respond to customer inquiries, and promote cross-selling of financial products and services.

4. Portfolio Monitoring

• Monitor portfolio performance, prepare reports, and support sustainable deposit growth.

5. Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML regulations, regulatory requirements, and internal company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in deposit mobilization, sales, business development, relationship management, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proven track record of achieving deposit mobilization or sales targets.
• Good knowledge of banking products and services, particularly liability products.
