Key Duties & Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the RTM Specialist is to support the implementation and optimization of route-to-market strategies to ensure efficient product distribution and deep market penetration.
Key outputs include:

Performance Monitoring: Regularly review operational KPI performance (including Ordered vs. Delivered metrics) and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

Partner Sustainability: Monitor the financial health and sustainability of distribution partners through monthly and quarterly Profit & Loss (P&L) reviews, DOSA audits, and corrective action plans.

Data Integrity: Ensure all customer master data related to sales is accurately maintained to support reliable business reporting and data-driven decisions.

Route Optimization: Optimize resource allocation and customer visit sequencing to drive cost-effective operations and efficient route management.

RTM Proposals: Develop and present well-evaluated Route-to-Market (RTM) proposals that enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and promotional effectiveness.

Strategy Simulations: Conduct RTM simulations using established parameters to validate the feasibility and operational practicality of proposed models prior to rollout.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Central Sales, and Regional Sales teams to align RTM strategies and ensure consistent execution across the organization.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve discrepancies affecting RTM strategies, gather stakeholder feedback, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 3–4 years of experience in sales within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.

Domain Knowledge: Practical experience in applying RTM principles to optimize sales operations is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis/modeling, along with experience utilizing routing and logistics software to maintain large datasets.

Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to evaluate structures, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical solutions based on market and customer needs.
