Job Summary
The Cash Product Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and operational management of Cash Management, Trade, and Working Capital products at Standard Chartered.
The role involves developing innovative product strategies, managing product performance, understanding customer needs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable business growth within the bank’s Transaction Banking division.
The successful candidate will help shape banking solutions that improve customer experience, strengthen market competitiveness, and support long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement strategic objectives for Cash, Trade, and Working Capital products aligned with global banking strategies.
- Monitor financial performance and key product metrics to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, including:
- Product development
- Market launch
- Performance management
- Risk management
- Product enhancement
- Product retirement
2. Market Research & Customer Insights
- Conduct market research and analyze:
- Customer behaviours
- Competitor offerings

- Emerging opportunities
- Use market insights to improve product strategies and address evolving client needs.

3. Product Governance & Compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation of product processes, workflows, and governance structures.
- Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Promote transparency, operational efficiency, and effective risk management.
4. Client Experience & Innovation
- Promote client-focused innovation through agile approaches and collaboration.
- Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop market-leading solutions.
- Improve customer experience and strengthen Standard Chartered’s market position.
5. Financial Performance & Business Growth
- Drive product profitability through:
