Key Responsibilities

The Cashier will be responsible for:

• Handling customer payments accurately, including:
  • Cash transactions.
  • Card payments.
  • Digital payments.
• Issuing correct receipts for all transactions.
• Preparing, issuing, and verifying invoices against:
  • Purchase orders.
  • Goods received notes.
• Reconciling cash drawers daily.
• Managing petty cash records accurately.
• Maintaining updated transaction ledgers.
• Assisting in preparing daily and weekly financial reports.
• Providing professional, polite, and helpful customer service.
• Maintaining good relationships with clients and team members.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar cashiering or invoicing role.
• Proven experience working in:
  • Supermarket environments, or
  • Banking environments.
• Practical experience using Tally Accounting Software is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, especially:
  • Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced spreadsheets.
  • Formulas.
  • Data analysis.
