Job Summary

BRAC Tanzania Finance Limited (BTFL) is seeking a Digital Transformation Manager to lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives. The role will focus on implementing and optimizing digital delivery channels, developing digital financial products, improving customer experiences, and enhancing operational efficiency through technology.

The successful candidate will identify innovative technological solutions that improve:

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Innovation

• Review, manage, and analyze existing business strategies related to:
  • Digital Financial Services
  • Technology solutions
  • Digital field applications
• Provide strategic guidance to management and ensure digital initiatives align with business objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of digital transformation strategies.
• Identify innovative digital solutions to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Product Development & Digital Solutions

• Develop innovative digital products that address customer needs through technology and alternative delivery channels.
• Work with internal teams to adapt processes and products to support digital transformation.
• Monitor emerging digital technologies and recommend solutions that improve:
  • Field operations
  • Product delivery
  • Service quality

Partnership & Project Management

• Build and manage relationships with:
  • Digital solution providers
  • Fintech companies
  • Technology developers
  • Other strategic partners
• Develop functional requirements for digital tools and applications.
• Prepare implementation plans, including change management strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize project impact.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment free from:
  • Abuse
  • Neglect
  • Harassment
  • Exploitation
• Provide guidance and support on safeguarding practices.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are implemented across all activities.
• Report safeguarding incidents according to established procedures.
• Encourage team members to follow safeguarding standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:

• Business Administration
• Finance
• Economics
• Statistics
• Information Technology
• Management Information Systems (MIS)
• Project Planning and Management
• Sales and Marketing

Professional certifications are an added advantage.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in areas such as:
  • Financial inclusion
  • Digital finance
  • Product development
  • Technology for development (Tech4Dev)
  • Payments platforms
  • Digital transformation projects
• Experience managing projects.
• Experience working with:
  • Mobile Network Operators (MNOs)
  • Fintech companies
  • Financial institutions
  • Regulators
    is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with financial institutions and digital financial services is preferred.
