About the Role

Dragon Oil Tanzania Ltd is seeking a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team in Mkuranga. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and dedicated to upholding the highest safety standards on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport & Delivery: Safely transport company staff, goods, and materials to designated destinations, ensuring timely delivery and collection.

• Vehicle Care: Perform daily vehicle inspections, report any mechanical faults, and keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to Tanzanian traffic laws and company safety policies.

• Operational Support: Assist with loading and unloading goods when required, and carry out other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Driving Licence: Valid Tanzanian Driving Licence (Class C or above).

• Education: Minimum of a VETA Certificate with a Degree in any related field.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven driving experience.

  • Proven experience with long-distance driving trips.

  • Strong knowledge of Tanzanian road networks and traffic regulations.

• Skills & Attributes:

  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.

  • Honest, disciplined, reliable, and physically fit.

  • Clean driving record (no history of serious traffic offenses).
