About the Role

Skynet Communication is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Micro Merchant Project Manager to lead and manage the Micro Merchant acquisition project. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving merchant recruitment, managing field operations, and ensuring the project achieves its performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of the Micro Merchant project.

• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor Supervisors and Sales Officers.

• Develop and execute strategies to increase Micro Merchant acquisition and activation.

• Monitor daily field operations and ensure all project KPIs are achieved.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners.

• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve project performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management, sales management, or merchant acquisition.

• Specialized Knowledge: Experience in Mobile Financial Services (MFS), Digital Payments, or Merchant Acquiring is an added advantage.

• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within Tanzania when required.
