About the Position

Sihotech Engineering Company Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Mechanical Building Services (HVAC & Plumbing) to lead the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and successful delivery of mechanical building services for commercial and high-rise building projects.

The successful candidate will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage project execution, and ensure compliance with engineering standards, building regulations, and project specifications while delivering projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical building services.
• Manage:
  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • Plumbing systems
  • Firefighting systems
  • Water supply systems
  • Drainage systems
  • Ventilation systems
• Coordinate mechanical works with:
  • Architectural teams
  • Structural engineers
  • Electrical engineers
  • ICT teams
• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, and quality delivery.
• Review and approve:
  • Mechanical designs
  • Technical submissions
  • Commissioning reports
• Provide technical leadership to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely project delivery.

Required Skills

Applicants should possess:

• Expertise in mechanical building services, including:
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing systems
  • Firefighting systems
• Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
• Sound knowledge of:
  • ASHRAE standards
  • SMACNA standards
  • NFPA codes
  • International Plumbing Code (IPC)
  • Relevant building codes and regulations
• Strong understanding of:
  • Testing and commissioning
  • Quality assurance
  • Regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

Candidates must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
• A valid ERB Practising Licence.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical building services for commercial or high-rise buildings.
