Job Overview

Tabono Consult Limited is seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily project site operations and ensure efficient execution of activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site workers, maintaining compliance with company procedures and regulations, supporting communication between workers and supervisors, and creating a productive working environment.


Key Responsibilities

Site Administration & Workforce Management

  • Prepare and manage:
    • Job cards
    • Workers’ timesheets
  • Ensure accurate recording of working hours for all site employees.
  • Monitor worker attendance and time management.
  • Prepare payroll information and submit it to the Accounts Relations Manager.
  • Maintain proper employee records and documentation.

Employee Management & Compliance

  • Ensure site activities comply with:
    • Labour laws
    • Company policies
    • Relevant regulations
  • Facilitate employment contract signing for new workers.
  • Ensure new employees complete all required documentation.
  • Issue warning letters for unacceptable employee conduct according to company procedures.
  • Issue end-of-contract letters for expired contracts.

Communication & Worker Relations

  • Provide translation support between local workers and Chinese supervisors.
  • Act as a communication link between workers and management.
  • Receive and address employee concerns and grievances.
  • Support conflict resolution and maintain good workplace relationships.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative working environment.

Recruitment & Employee Onboarding

  • Support recruitment activities when vacancies arise.
  • Advertise available positions or coordinate with local authorities to identify candidates.
  • Conduct onboarding processes for new workers.
  • Introduce new employees to:
    • Site procedures
    • Company policies
    • Workplace expectations
  • Ensure employees understand contract terms and conditions.

Reporting & Site Support

  • Prepare and submit weekly site reports covering:
    • Work progress
    • Site activities
    • Challenges and issues
  • Ensure workers have access to health services.
  • Arrange medical support and hospital referrals for injured workers when required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to support project objectives.

Education Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Diploma or Degree in:
    • Human Resource Management
    • Or equivalent qualification

Additional advantage:

  • Training or knowledge in:
    • Construction basics
    • Workplace safety
    • Technical trades

Required Skills & Competencies
