We are currently seeking a professional Fixed Asset Accountant who is highly competent, self-motivated, and passionate about adding value across both entities.

Position: Fixed Asset Accountant

Reporting to: Country Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Asset Lifecycle Management

• Maintain the fixed asset register by accurately recording acquisitions, transfers, disposals, impairments, and retirements.

Accounting & Depreciation

• Calculate monthly depreciation and amortization.
• Post accounting entries.
• Ensure proper capitalization of assets.
• Monitor Construction-in-Progress (CIP) projects.

Reconciliation & Reporting

• Reconcile the fixed asset register with the general ledger on a monthly basis.
• Prepare schedules for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Audits & Compliance

• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Review CAPEX requests.

Verification & Process Improvement

• Conduct physical asset counts.
• Resolve discrepancies identified during asset verification.
• Recommend improvements to internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance asset management processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in fixed asset accounting.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAGE, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
