Only One Travel is a fast-growing tours and travel company dedicated to providing exceptional travel experiences. The company is seeking a qualified, organized, and results-driven Sales and Operations Specialist to join its team in Tanzania.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sales and Operations Specialist will support the full sales and operations cycle, including client enquiries, itinerary coordination, quotations, bookings, supplier communication, travel logistics, documentation, and after-sales support.
The ideal candidate should have strong sales coordination, travel operations, customer service, marketing, and administrative skills, preferably within the tourism, travel, or hospitality sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing quotations, proposals, itineraries, booking confirmations, invoices, and other travel-related documents.
- Following up with potential and existing clients to support sales conversions and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinating reservations and bookings with hotels, lodges, transport providers, guides, airlines, and other suppliers.
- Maintaining updated client files, booking records, payment records, supplier details, and operational documentation.
- Supporting daily sales and operations activities to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Preparing sales reports, operational reports, and booking summaries.
- Coordinating travel logistics, including accommodation, transfers, activities, excursions, domestic travel, and special client requests.
- Supporting the improvement of sales workflows, booking processes, and customer service procedures.
- Providing after-sales support and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the client journey.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Tourism Management, Travel and Hospitality, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
- Additional training in travel operations, reservations, sales, customer service, or hospitality is an added advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales, travel operations, reservations, tourism, hospitality, or a related customer service role.
- Fluency in English or Kiswahili.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, lead tracking, and service delivery standards.
