Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited is a Tanzanian company operating in the oil and gas sector, with a particular focus on Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

The company was originally incorporated as Mihan Gas Company Limited in 2005 and later underwent ownership and corporate restructuring before adopting the Taifa Gas name.

Taifa Gas operates across the LPG value chain, including importation, storage, cylinder filling, distribution, transportation, and trading. Its products serve households, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools, and other institutions.

The company has invested in LPG infrastructure and distribution networks across Tanzania and also serves regional markets in parts of East and Central Africa.

POSITION: GRADUATE TRAINEE – BILLING UNIT OFFICER

The Billing Unit Officer role is suitable for a recent Accounting or finance-related graduate with strong numerical, analytical, computer, and organizational skills.

The position requires someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, results-driven, and comfortable working with financial data.


REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • GPA above 3.8 (Upper Second Class Honours).
  • Division I achievement in both Form IV and Form VI examinations.
  • Graduated within the last 1–2 years.
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • High level of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
  • Results-driven and patient approach to work.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interest and passion for numbers and financial data.
