Job Summary

The Residence Zanzibar is seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resources & Training Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing human resources operations, supporting employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour regulations, and developing training initiatives to enhance staff performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage HR operations and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Support employee relations and handle confidential matters professionally.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and hospitality HR best practices.
• Develop and deliver employee training programs.
• Support staff development initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.
• Provide HR guidance and support to management and employees.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HR role within a resort or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • HR policies
  • Labour laws
  • HR best practices
• Excellent:

  • Communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage employee relations and confidential information professionally.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs is an added advantage.
