Job Purpose
The HR Associate will assist the Human Resource Manager in delivering a positive employee experience and coordinating various HR programmes, policies, and activities.
The role covers recruitment and retention, talent management, performance management, employee relations, payroll, learning and development, and staff records.
Key Responsibilities
- Support initiatives that promote good employee relations, including staff meetings and social events.
- Ensure employee records are accurate and regularly updated.
- Implement activities under the annual HR action plan.
- Provide input on departmental staffing requirements.
- Assist in updating job descriptions in line with HR policies.
- Collect information on employee training needs and training evaluations.
- Coordinate the staff training and development calendar.
- Facilitate recruitment and onboarding activities, including:
- Job advertisements
- Initial shortlisting
- Interviews
- File management
- Induction
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into HR systems and files.
- Advise employees on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures.
- Support the organization’s culture-change initiatives.
- Assist with monthly payroll processes in coordination with the HR Manager and Group Payroll Office.
- Ensure statutory payroll reports are submitted to relevant institutions.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Diploma in Human Resource Management.
- 2–4 years of experience in generalist Human Resources management.
