Job Summary
AB InBev is seeking an Imex Analyst to analyze, monitor, and track logistics costs related to the importation and exportation of raw materials, finished goods, and equipment.
The role focuses on landed-cost analysis, import/export execution, reconciliation, reporting, KPI monitoring, and ensuring compliance with company processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Landed Cost Analysis
- Analyze and track all landed costs.
- Understand the purchasing process and its impact on landed costs.
- Identify all cost elements associated with imported goods.
- Conduct pre-costing analysis for shipments.
- Ensure clearing costs, duties, and regulatory costs are included.
- Compare estimated and actual costs and report monthly variances.
- Analyze additional costs and currency fluctuations.
- Ensure invoices and GRNs for services are posted within 48 hours and according to company policies.
2. KPIs, Reporting & Reconciliation
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly management routines.
- Standardize processes through SOPs and work standards.
- Monitor KPIs in line with LCP requirements.
- Apply appropriate problem-solving tools when KPIs fall outside required ranges.
- Prepare and publish reports on time.
- Maintain secure records of clearing documentation.
- Reconcile monthly goods received, including GRNs and prepayments.
3. Import & Export Execution
- Identify import and export opportunities across the region.
- Work with Supply Chain Development (SCD) and Supply Network Planning (SNP) country teams.
- Prepare and publish weekly and monthly dashboards covering imports into Tanzania and exports from Tanzania.

Minimum Requirements
- A 3-year degree in:
- Logistics, or
- Cost Accounting, or
- International Trade, or
- Supply Chain Management, or
- Commerce, or another related field.
- Preferably 3–5 years of experience in:
- Manufacturing cost accounting,
- Import clearing and forwarding, and/or
- Inventory management.
- FMCG industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The strongest candidates will have a combination of logistics/supply chain knowledge, cost analysis, import/export operations, inventory management, and strong numerical and reporting skills. Experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
