About Aquahub Aquahub is an innovative blue economy and mariculture enterprise committed to sustainable aquaculture, community-based contract farming, and responsible marine resource development. We are seeking motivated, results-oriented professionals to support our technical operations and processing expansion.
Available Positions
1. Financial Officer (1 Position)
Purpose: Manage financial systems, compliance, and reporting to support operational growth and donor-funded activities.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Manage day-to-day operations: budgeting, cash flow, and expenditure tracking.
-
Prepare financial reports for donors and organizational leadership.
-
Ensure compliance with procurement, audit standards, and internal controls.
-
Coordinate with auditors and support long-term financial forecasting.
-

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
-
Experience: 3–5 years in financial management (donor-funded project experience preferred).
-
Bonus: Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).

2. Aquaculture Technician (1 Position)
Purpose: Support marine operations, including sea cucumber farming, hatchery support, and community technical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Support daily sea cucumber farming and grow-out systems.
-
Collect production, growth, and survival data.
-
Provide on-site technical support to community partners.
-
Monitor biosecurity and environmental best practices.
-

Qualifications:
-
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, or Marine Sciences.
-
Experience: Practical mariculture experience is highly desirable.
-
Requirements: Willingness to work in coastal and remote field locations.

3. Algae and Live Feed Specialist (1 Position)
Purpose: Develop and maintain live feed and algae production systems for hatchery and nursery operations.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Establish and manage algae/live feed culture systems.
-
Maintain culture quality, density, and contamination control.
-
Monitor water quality and support hatchery feeding protocols.
-
Train technicians and interns on production systems.
-

Qualifications:
-
Degree or Diploma in Marine Biology, Biotechnology, or Aquaculture.
-
Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience in algae/live feed culture.
-
4. Marine Engineer (Internship)
Purpose: Provide technical support for marine infrastructure, processing machinery, and aquaculture structures.
-
Key Responsibilities:
-
Support design, construction, and supervision of onshore/offshore infrastructure.
-
Provide technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
-
Coordinate with contractors to ensure durability in marine environments.
-

Qualifications:
-
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Construction.
-
Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials suited for saline/marine environments.
