Job Purpose
The successful candidates will be responsible for hooking and unhooking bulk (1-ton) bags at the loading bay, ensuring safe handling, accurate tracking, and compliance with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Hook 1-ton bags securely onto crane hooks once positioned at the loading bay
- Safely remove bag handles from crane hooks during offloading
- Scan 1-ton bags during:
- Receiving/offloading from K2
- Stacking into designated bays
- Destacking for decanting
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area
- Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) meetings and suggest improvements
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures
- Comply with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies
- Report any unsafe or non-conforming conditions using the incident reporting system
- Ensure operations meet ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 standards
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Form IV (O-Level Certificate)
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or similar roles (added advantage)
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Basic understanding of safety procedures
- Knowledge of lifting operations and working at height
- Ability to read, write, and understand SOPs
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Problem-solving ability (basic level)
- Results-oriented mindset
