Position: Banquet Cook

A leading catering and facility management service provider in Tanzania

Role Overview:
Support and execute banqueting kitchen operations for events and functions in Dar es Salaam

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook meals for banquet events in line with approved menus and recipes
• Support the Head Chef in food preparation, plating, and presentation during events
• Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and consistency
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
• Assist in food storage, stock rotation, and minimizing wastage
• Work closely with the kitchen and banquet service teams for smooth event execution

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in banqueting, catering, or hotel kitchen operations
• Hands-on experience in food preparation for large-scale events

Skills & Competencies

• Flexible with event schedules
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

Eligibility
