Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and execute brand plans that contribute directly to the achievement of business objectives by building strong, relevant, and competitive brands in the marketplace.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Performance

  • Analyse brand and market performance data to generate insights and identify brand issues and opportunities.
  • Articulate clear brand goals and objectives aligned with the defined role of the brand.

Brand Activation & Execution

  • Develop and implement winning activity plans that deliver brand strategy and objectives in line with the approved creative platform.
  • Deliver, measure, and evaluate brand activities to optimise in-market performance and marketing spend effectiveness.
  • Manage projects to ensure brand activations are delivered on time and within budget.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Ensure clear communication of brand activities and execution standards to sales teams and channel partners.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively and drive excitement and alignment around the brand and its initiatives.

Key Attributes and Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid analytical capability with good project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Action-oriented, results-driven mindset.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related commercial discipline.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in brand management, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably within FMCG, beverages, or other consumer-driven industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing brand plans, including campaign planning, activation, and performance tracking.
  • Proven ability to analyse market, consumer, and performance data and translate insights into actionable brand initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for analysis, reporting, and presentations.
