The Barrick North Mara Team is seeking to recruit a Communication Technician to join and grow within our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain radio communication equipment, including:
- Repeaters
- Head-end systems
- Transmitters and receivers
- Antennas and amplifiers (Sigma)
- Communication boosters and splitters
- Two-way radios
- Install and manage leaky feeder cable systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Troubleshoot technical issues and diagnose faults efficiently
- Provide timely and effective solutions to communication system challenges
Qualification Requirements
- High School Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Specialized certification in Radio Frequency (RF) is an added advantage
Experience & Competencies
- Strong foundation in:
- Electronics
- Signal processing
- Radio frequency (RF) technology
- Solid understanding of digital and analog circuits
- Proven experience working with Sigma equipment
- Experience working in underground environments
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork
