Job Vacancy: Credit Controller

Interchick (Kuku Mfalme)—recently voted a Superbrand (2024-2026)—is looking for a qualified Credit Controller to join their team.


1. Key Responsibilities

The role involves a comprehensive mix of invoicing, collections, reporting, and reconciliation:

  • Invoicing & Credits: Prepare Proforma and commercial invoices for eggs, chicks, and processed chicken; process credit notes upon approval.

  • Collections: Ensure daily collections from customer accounts and deliver demand notices to defaulting customers.

  • Reporting: Deliver weekly collection reports (Mondays before 10 AM) and weekly aging accounts receivables reports.

  • Daily Financials: Report daily cash sales for all depots and reconcile POS data with EFD Z-reports and bank statements.

  • Inventory & Journals: Conduct month-end and year-end stock counting; prepare and post standard journal entries.

  • Customer Service: Resolve payment-related customer complaints on a daily basis.

2. Requirements

  • Age: 22–35 years.

  • Education: Bachelor in Accounting and Finance or its equivalent.

  • Experience: 2 years and above.
