Position 1: A-Level Economics & Geography Teacher

Duty Stations: Dar es Salaam & Coast Region

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reporting To: Head Master

Role Context

Instruct students following the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) Advanced Level syllabus. The primary goal is to prepare Form V & VI students for the ACSEE (NECTA) examinations.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Curriculum Mastery: Deep understanding of the current TIE Economics and Geography syllabus.

• Methodology: Implementation of Competency-Based Teaching and learner-centered instruction.

• Assessment: Planning and reporting Continuous Assessment (CA) and utilizing data-driven interventions to improve student performance.

• ICT Integration: Ability to use technology for learning resources and assessments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Economics/Geography) OR a relevant degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).

• Experience: While 2+ years of A-Level teaching is an advantage, fresh graduates with strong academic excellence are highly encouraged to apply.

Position 2: Chinese (Mandarin) Language Teacher

Location: Dar es Salaam

Employment Type: Part-Time

Reporting To: Head Master

Role Context

Deliver structured Mandarin language instruction to support foreign language learning programs.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin.

• Certification: Recognized certification such as HSK or equivalent.

• Teaching Skills: Ability to prepare structured lesson plans and maintain strong classroom management.

• Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred.
