Key Responsibilities

Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).
Develop 2D/3D electrical drawings and panel models.
Generate and manage technical documentation including Bills of Materials (BOMs), cable schedules, and device lists.
Ensure all designs comply with IEC, ATEX, NEC, and other applicable electrical standards and safety regulations.
Perform basic electrical calculations (load calculations, voltage drop, current capacity, power consumption).
Select and specify appropriate electrical components and materials.
Review supplier drawings and verify technical accuracy before project release.
Support engineers and project managers during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical problem-solving.
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper version control of drawings and documentation.

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (minimum 3-year technical program).
Proven experience in electrical design and drafting (control panels and low-voltage systems preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical.
Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals and industry standards.
Ability to perform basic electrical calculations.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
