Job Title: Recovery Officer

Job Purpose

To manage non-performing loans and ensure effective recovery of delinquent accounts while maintaining professional customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and follow up on overdue loan accounts.

  • Negotiate repayment plans and implement recovery strategies.

  • Prepare portfolio quality and recovery performance reports.

  • Liaise with legal teams on recovery actions where necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recovery records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit administration or debt recovery within a financial institution.

  • Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge: Knowledge of banking regulations and recovery procedures will be an added advantage.
