### Role Overview
The Head of Procurement and Administration is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all logistical, administrative, and procurement functions. The goal is to ensure operational excellence, full regulatory compliance, and seamless support for BRAC’s programmatic goals in Tanzania.
### Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Supervise administrative staff (drivers, cleaners, etc.) and evaluate systems to close efficiency gaps.

Strategic Advisory: Advise management on logistics and procurement risks; provide regular performance reports and KPIs.

Compliance & Risk: Ensure all activities align with donor, statutory, and internal policies. Develop mitigation plans for operational risks.

Vendor Management: Monitor contract performance to ensure “value for money” and high-quality delivery.

Safety & Security: Maintain workplace health and safety standards and manage incident reporting systems.

Safeguarding: Act as a lead authority on safeguarding; ensure the team is trained and the working environment is safe and inclusive.
### Candidate Requirements
| Category | Requirements |
| Education | Bachelor’s in Business Admin, Operations, or Supply Chain. (Master’s preferred). |
| Certification | CPSP (Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional) or equivalent. |
| Experience | Minimum 7 years in procurement/logistics, ideally within the NGO/Humanitarian sector. |
| Leadership | Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operational portfolios. |
| Technical Skills | Strong budgeting, financial management, and analytical forecasting. |
| Soft Skills | Negotiation, multi-cultural teamwork, and the ability to work under high pressure. |
