Job Purpose: The Head of Commercial is a senior executive role responsible for driving revenue growth, market leadership, and commercial excellence across Bravo Group’s diversified logistics portfolio. It involves leading the development and execution of end-to-end integrated logistics solutions, combining dry ports, bulk cargo terminals, rail and road transport, and customs clearing & forwarding into seamless offerings.

Business Scope (Commercial Oversight)
The Head of Commercial will have full commercial responsibility for:

Four (4) ICD’s & CFS’s: Handling Import & export cargo for domestic and regional transit markets.

Bulk Cargo Terminal.
-
Transport Operations: Rail and Road.
-
Customs Clearing & Forwarding Services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integrated Commercial Strategy & Growth
-
Design and implement a group-wide commercial strategy focused on end-to-end integrated logistics solutions.
-
Package Bravo Group’s services into single window, bundled logistics offerings that optimize cost, speed, and reliability for customers.
-
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across dry ports, transport, terminals, and clearing & forwarding services.
-
Drive regional expansion and transit trade solutions for neighbouring countries.
2. Sales, Key Accounts & Partnerships
-
Lead strategic sales and business development for integrated logistics contracts with key customers, shipping lines, manufacturers, traders, and government entities.

Negotiate and manage complex multi-service contracts, SLAs, and long-term framework agreements.
-
Build strategic partnerships with ports, rail operators, shipping lines, and cross-border agencies to strengthen end-to-end service delivery.

Lead and mentor the group commercial and sales teams.
3. Customer Experience & Value Creation
-
Ensure a seamless customer journey across all Bravo Group services through integrated solutions.
-
Act as the commercial champion for customer-centric logistics design, focusing on reliability, visibility, and speed.
-
Introduce value-added services such as cargo visibility, tracking, consolidated billing, and performance reporting.
4. Digital Transformation & Commercial Enablement
-
Champion the use of digital platforms, CRM, ERP, TMS, WMS, and analytics tools to support integrated logistics solutions.

Support digitization of customer onboarding, contract management, integrated billing, revenue assurance, cargo tracking, performance dashboards, and customer portals.
-
Promote data-driven pricing, forecasting, and commercial decision-making.
5. Cross-Functional Integration
-
Work closely with Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure solutions are operationally executable end-to-end.

Ensure cost control, margin optimization, and service consistency.

Maintain alignment between customer promises and delivery capability.
-
Drive internal integration across business units to support single-solution offerings.
6. ISO Compliance, Governance & Risk
-
Ensure commercial processes for integrated logistics solutions comply with ISO certification requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Support audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives related to customer contracts and service delivery.

Promote ethical conduct, governance, and risk mitigation in all commercial engagements.
7. Financial Performance & Reporting
-
Own revenue targets, pricing frameworks, and commercial budgets for integrated logistics solutions.

Monitor profitability by customer, corridor, and service line.
-
Provide executive management with actionable commercial and performance insights.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Growth in integrated logistics contracts.

Revenue and margin contribution from bundled services.

Customer retention and contract renewals.
-
Digital adoption across commercial processes.

Customer satisfaction and service reliability.
-
Compliance with ISO and governance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or related field.

Experience: 10-15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience in logistics, transport, ports, rail, or supply chain industries.
-
Proven experience delivering end-to-end integrated logistics solutions.
-
Strong exposure to regional and cross-border trade corridors.
-
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading digital transformation initiatives.
