Head of Data Transformation & Architecture Job Opportunity at YAS – April 2026

Interest / Pre-qualification YAS is looking for an experienced leader to join as Head of Data Transformation & Architecture.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, ICT, Engineering or any related field. Master’s Degree is an added advantage. Minimum 7 years in Analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data warehousing, with a focus on post-load data manipulation.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data systems and architectures that support the storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of data.
• Enforce best practices for data management, data security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements for the entire organization.
• Lead optimization of data platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, cost efficiency, and near real-time data availability for critical use cases.

Competences

• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level SQL skills with the ability to write, optimize, and debug complex queries for large-scale datasets.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record (2+ years) of managing technical teams or leading data modelling initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Modelling Expertise: Deep understanding of data modelling concepts, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and normalization/denormalization techniques.
