Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Reporting
-
SSC Liaison: Primary local contact for the Shared Services Centre to ensure accurate reporting and smooth month-end closes.

Management Accounts: Prepare and deliver monthly accounts, budgets, and forecasts within strict deadlines.

Team Management: Lead, develop, and retain a small local finance team.

Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce group finance and administration policies at the country level.
Compliance & Operations

TRA Management: Serve as the key contact for the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA); manage tax compliance, audits, and statutory filings.

Risk Management: Ensure zero risk exposure regarding local tax and financial regulations.

Local Operations: Oversee treasury, payroll, cost control, and internal controls.

Asset Management: Ensure effective fixed asset management and EFD (Electronic Fiscal Device) compliance.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Qualifications
-
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

Professional Status: Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) is advantageous.
Experience & Skills
-
Total Experience: Minimum of 10 years in relevant finance/accounting roles.

Managerial Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar managerial position.

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Tanzanian financial regulations and tax laws.

International Exposure: Preferred.

Technical Skills: Advanced MS Office skills (Excel) and strong organizational abilities.
